Welcome to the BioIndustrial Revolution

Thanks to the rapid increase in regulatory pressures, coupled with a significant shift toward localized, sustainable supply chains – demand is increasing for bio-based alternatives in construction and materials markets.

BioIndustrial manufacturing, or 'BioRefining,' sustainably converts abundant local biomass into valuable, market-ready products like specialty chemicals, advanced construction materials, and renewable bioenergy.

According to a report released by the US Advisory council in 2000, the United States generates enough waste biomass each year to “easily meet current demands for bio-based industrial chemicals and materials.”

However, the BioIndustrial manufacturing industry in the U.S. currently faces a scale-up challenge due to a critical lack of pilot-to demonstration-scale infrastructure. As a result, American companies are often forced to seek overseas facilities to bridge this scale-up gap, leading to offshore migration of American R&D activities and increased risk of intellectual property leakage.

Regenerative Industrial directly addresses this critical infrastructure gap by establishing domestic pilot and demonstration-scale capabilities, specifically focused on bio-based materials and chemicals tailored for the Built Environment.

These advanced, bio-based solutions achieve maximum impact when leveraged in both civilian infrastructure projects—such as ports, public works, and civil engineering—and strategically critical military installations and naval vessels.

Our Bio-Based Products Support National Security and Domestic Manufacturing Needs

This means they can serve both military and civilian markets, including Agriculture, Environmental Remediation, Construction Materials, Polymers, and Power Electronics.

We currently sell our bio-based agricultural products under our “house” brand name LunaChar. All other applications are “made to order” and formulated to client specifications.

  • LunaChar Wood Tar is a thick, high-carbon liquid made from pyrolyzed waste wood. It contains natural phenolics, resins, and hydrocarbons. This tar provides waterproofing and protects against corrosion. It is a non-toxic, sustainable alternative to petroleum-based sealants and coatings.

  • LunaChar Wood Vinegar (pyroligneous acid) is a natural liquid created during pyrolysis of waste wood biomass. It contains organic acids, phenolics, esters, and alcohols. This product improves soil health, enhances plant growth, and supports advanced bio-based technologies.

  • LunaChar Biochar is a sustainable, high-carbon product from waste wood biomass. It contains low ash content and is free from harmful contaminants. These products can be tailored by particle size for use in agricultural and industrial markets.

All three products are currently being tested for certification under the USDA BioPreferred Program. This certification makes the products eligible for mandatory federal and state procurement programs.
